High School
Attended Pioneer Valley High School where she played under head coach Karina Gutierrez...Was a four-time team MVP and captain as well as a two-time First Team All-Pac-7 League selection...As a senior, she was named to the Santa Barbara All-County Team in addition to earning All-CIF Southern Section Division I Second Team distinction...Also named Female Athlete of the Year at Pioneer Valley during the 2007-08 school year...In 2005, she was named the Los Padres League Co-MVP...Earned Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table and Santa Maria Sun Times Athlete of the Week honors in each of her four years playing prep volleyball...Hit a career-best .376 as a senior while averaging 4.9 kills per game and posting 224 digs and 38 blocks...As a sophomore she averaged 5.0 kills per game and had 38 aces on the season... Also played basketball for the Panthers...Named to the CIF All-Academic Team in 2005 and was a Scholar-Athlete all four years of high school, receiving Academic Excellence accolades.

Nicole Lynn Doyle was born Nov. 19, 1989 in Santa Maria, Calif....Daughter of Angela and Jim Doyle, whom she names as her personal heroes...Has one older sister, Ashley...Enters UCSB as a pre-psychology major and aspires to one day be a physical therapist...Off the court, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and drawing...Her favorite movie is "Now and Then", while her favorite musical group is Sherwood...Lists "The Lovely Bones" as her favorite read...Most memorable athletic achievement was being offered a scholarship to play Division I volleyball.
