Junior Cheyne Murray won the discus with a lifetime best of 174' 2" (53.10m), the third best toss in UCSB history. Senior Adrian Dilley won the long jump (22' 8") and the triple jump (46' 8.25") and junior team captain Deborah Samson won the women's pole vault clearing 11' 6". Freshman Rachael Elbinger cleared a season best 5' 3" to finish second in the high jump.
Strong winds kept times on the track slow and final exams curtailed the Gauchos full participation in the meet, however the UCSB women won both the 4x800 and distance medley relays. Junior Jasmine Washington led off the 4x800 with a 2:16, giving the Gauchos a big lead and junior Katie Appenrodt anchored both relays to victory. UCSB redshirt D.J. Ozan won the mile in 4:20.5.
