High School -- Competed in the 1600m and 800m, earning All-League honors in 2006 and 2007... Missed half of his senior season with a respiratory infection, but was still able to hit a 4:22 mile PR... Coached by Chuck Bruns.
Personal -- Enjoys the great outdoors and is an avid camper and hiker... Also interested in snowboarding and wakeboarding... Says the biggest difference between high school track and college track is the level of intensity; he enjoys being around athletes who give the sport their all... Aspires to become a physical therapist.
