2008: Placed sixth in the 200 butterfly (1:49.96) and 11th in the 50 free (21.20) at the Big West Championships. 2007: Placed fourth in the 200 fly (1:49.97), sixth in the 100 fly (49.61) and 16th in the 50 free (22.09) at the Big West Championships.

Swam for Liberty High School where he was coached by Steve Cabalica and Mark Urmston...Valley Section Champion in the 200 medley relay...Held records in the 200 and 500 free and 100 fly...All-league honors in 2003, 2005 and 2006...Helped team to 2006 league championship...Swam for Bakersfield Swim Club and was coached by Keith Moore.
