2008: Was eighth in the 200 medley relay (1:34.24), 17th in the 100 breaststroke (57.11) and 19th in the 200 IM (1:56.94) at the Big West Championships.

Swam for Fountain Valley High School under coach Sean Elo...Earned All-American honors three years in a row...Was his high school's record-holder in the 200 IM, 100 fly and 100 breast...Also competed with the Fountain Valley Aqua Arrows under coach Vladi Sapozhkov.
